Best advice I’ve heard in parenting
This is a must read for parents . I think some of the recommendations I’m implementing are dramatically impacting the relationship and influence I have on my difficult child

Changed my world view, and I have a PhD in child development!
Worth the full read. Hold onto you Kids shows us how to discipline without breaking the most important bond in the world: our parental attachments. I found it truly helpful, and I’ve been studying and researching (full time!) the area for decades!

Life-changing
I'm grieving that I didn't find this book when my children were young. One of the most impactful and resonating books I have ever read. Some parts seem repetitive but I believe it's essential to have certain points repeatedly emphasized to fully understand the simplicity of the solution.

Mandatory for anyone with a child - teen or not
This is an essential book for anyone with children. It gave me a vocabulary an articulated understanding of what happens , has happened and how I as a parent can reconnect with my child.
If you care about your child - listen to this.
Any Gabor Maté is worth while enhancing your life with, this is 100% necessary as a parent or person who cares for a growing child / adolescent/ teen.

best parenting advice
I've listened to quite a few books and this book totally is the best so far, other books were so complicated in how to advice altho points taken where this book was helpful more than I can explain, every word spoken resinated with me.

A must read for parents
