Publisher's Summary
Soon to be a major TV series, with Jessica Chastain as executive producer.
If there are two sides to every story, someone is always lying....
Jack: Three words to describe my wife: beautiful. Ambitious. Unforgiving.
Anna: I only need one word to describe my husband: liar.
When a woman is murdered in Blackdown village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Anna’s ex-husband, DCI Jack Harper, is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation. Someone is lying, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

OH MY GOD
I really cannot say too much without giving anything away.
So many twists and turns my head was spinning, but in a good way.
A brilliant written book and incredibly plotted out.
Loved it. An absolute must read.

Amazing read
I could not put this audiobook down, the female narrator was amazing and I loved the whole book but was disappointed with final twist. I would have given it a 5 without the final ending. Big thumbs up to the narrator, I would definitely read other books with her narration.

Had me guessing the entire time
I really enjoyed everything about this book. It was unpredictable, and moved at a great pace. The characters were interesting, the twists and turns kept me guessing and I struggled putting it down. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys watching all the pieces slowly fit together from a variety of perspectives.
Other books I loved that have some of the same features include the wife between us, the silent patient and an anonymous girl.

Revenge, Served Up By Someone Playing The Long Game
A women turns up dead in a picturesque English village brings all the main players back.
Back to the place : Blackdown in Surrey, where twenty years earlier, a sixteenth birthday, a visit to the local woods, would reverberate through a group of school friends ending in death .
Alice Feeney is a genius when it comes to character development and plot

gripping, intriguing and loved it !!
The storyline was unique, interesting, compelling, intriguing and all the musts for a good crime & mystery novel....I couldn't stop listening. My daughter has listened too and loves the characters. Very clever hearing from both perspectives. As always Richard Armitage does an amazing job as did Stephanie Racine. Loved it!
