Back in Britain, Private Investigators George and Molly Palmer-Jones are working on a minor fraud case with name of Brownscombe Associates attached. So when George receives a desperate transatlantic call from his friend Rob, he is on the first plane to Texas.
His investigations make little progress – until the second body is found . . .

Disappointing
Not up to usual standard. Missing intrigue and not much suspense. Probably my least favourite thus far.

A Fitting Finale.
“ Old sins have long shadows “
It’s a time worn theme in murder mysteries but when it’s done well is very satisfying. High Island Blues is a fitting finale to the eight part series featuring George and Molly Palmer-Jones. Superb narration by Sean Barrett made for grand entertainment.
