On the day we choose our wedding rings, my fiancé vanishes into thin air.
My fiancé brought me tea and scrambled eggs in bed that morning, and we snuggled together, talking about buying our rings, and about our perfect wedding next year.
Then we headed into town. He held my hand and gazed at the ring I liked best, a smile spreading slowly over his face. Then a glass of bubbly to celebrate. I felt flushed, excited and ready for the rest of my life with the man I loved.
We race to get on the train home. It screams to a halt and I run towards its open doors. Made it.
I think he’s right behind me — but when I turn around, he’s gone.

A bit predictable
Lead character was a kind of annoying. Liked how the story timeline moved quickly. Ending was not expected, but the protagonist was.

A good story ..,
The story started well but the character Eve got quite annoying in the process. I think the author dragged the story of Eve far too much that the initial empathy dwindled. Very predictable but overall still a good story.

This was a really good story that sadly faded at the end. Right up until the last 2 chapters I was keen to keep reading. The end was disappointing

Could not put it down then hated the end
This was such a promising story. The whole done it could have been anyone. The twist was then okay. But then the ending. It made me so mad!!

Should have been a short story
I found the characters to be frustrating and the story tedious. I still listened to the entire story, intrigued as to where it would go, however at 1.5 speed. The story was based on a good idea, but could have been much, much shorter.
