Catherine Nixey & Lalla Ward are such a great team
Catherine & Lalla actually managed to weave a little humour into such a bleak & brutal history.
And like all totalitarianism it just repeats & and repeats.
The "Jesus" message has been fine tuned over the centuries, to the point where now we have a slick well oiled propaganda machine, in the early days they just had to kill you if you didn't play the game.
Same game still today, just a little more subtle.
A must read for all people who practise any religion, best for Catholics of course.
But I doubt any of those groups would ever read this, rather they would chose to burn it probably.
Terrific history.
