About this listen
Tracy Crosswhite returns in the second book in the page-turning series by New York Times bestselling author Robert Dugoni.
Homicide detective Tracy Crosswhite has returned to the police force after the sensational retrial of her sister’s killer. Still scarred from that ordeal, Tracy is pulled into an investigation that threatens to end her career, if not her life.
A serial killer known as the Cowboy is killing young women in cheap motels in North Seattle. Even after a stalker leaves a menacing message for Crosswhite, suggesting the killer or a copycat could be targeting her personally, she is charged with bringing the murderer to justice. With clues scarce and more victims dying, Tracy realizes the key to solving the murders may lie in a decade-old homicide investigation that others, including her captain, Johnny Nolasco, would prefer to keep buried. With the Cowboy on the hunt, can Tracy find the evidence to stop him, or will she become his next victim?

They get better!
I read this one after reading My Sister's Grave, Mr Dugoni's first in this series.
Both good, but this is a great follow on in the series. I wasn't disappointed, and have just purchased book 3 in the series on the strength of them, which I'm really looking forward to.
A good story, and well narrated.

Narrator
Narrator Emily Sutton - Smith did a great job. I only started Audible in March this yr. After listening to to 10 novels. Emily is the best.

This story doesn’t really break new ground, But is an enjoyable read and wiles away the long train hours.

Another gripping novel.
Excellent continuation of the characters from Book 1. Plenty of plot twists and seat edge thrills Couldn't stop listening. Am hooked on Tracey Crosswhite.

Grips you from the first pages but please just stop with the Irish accent
The Irish brogue is so bad I’ve had to jump quite a few passages of this and other books in this series.
Great story though

Bland and repetitive.
Struggled to finish. The story was long and drawn out with little to keep you wanting more. Just a lot of monotonous conversations with little to excite the imagination.
