An enjoyable story

A typical historical romance, so right up my alley, lol! A bit of drama thanks to a family secret, some “meanies” and our heroine finding strength and love with her steadfast hero just in time for a happy ending.

A bit dull

Story was slow and narration could be be more animated. I even listened to it sped up and it still lacked pace
