Memory of childhood revisited
This was a visit to a fond childhood memory of the first “chapter book” I read. I had not recalled how “Goddly” this story was but none the less still a sweet and enjoyable read. The characters are innocent and pure without any of today’s evils to disrupt relationships. I recommend this book to those like me who like to reminisce but suggest that younger readers may need to be supported. Perhaps a read together book.

Classic story, beautifully performed. I have seen 2 movie versions, but neither was as good as this telling from the book itself. Clearly was intended as religious instuction for children, and probably breaks the world record for the number of references to "joy" and "delight". But a true feel-good story.

Lovable Book
I've always loved Heidi, but it was so well performed and I would recommend it for all ages- especially to those history-loving people. Extremely well performed, beautiful story that makes me feel warm inside the whole way through- I could never stop listening. Absolute beauty to read.

Beautiful story and read wonderfully
I know this story from animated adaptation when I was young and I am already captivated ,when I found this as Amazon classic suggestion I purchased it. The reader sounds soothing yet full of life ,I love how the voices are portrayed really helps the imagination and emotions of every chapter.
