JD Barker?

Not the JD Barker I know. I've read all his books and they're all really 1st class thrillers but after listening to about one third of this book I'm wondering if I can be bothered finishing it. It just doesn't grab me and the story line is very immaturely contrived. For the first time I think I will have to return a book with the name of JD Barker as one of the writers....? maybe he's taken up mentoring young & up comings!
