About this listen

Who is Catalia Fisa? With the help of pivotal figures from her past, Cat begins to understand the root of her exceptional magic, her fated union with Griffin Sinta, and Griffin's role in shaping her destiny. Only Cat holds the key to unlocking her own power, and that means finally accepting herself, her past, and her future in order to protect her loved ones, confront her murderous mother, and take a final, terrifying step - reuniting all three realms and taking her place as the Queen of Thalyria. What doesn't kill her will only make her stronger...we hope.

Strong story line but lacking a punch

I read all three of these books and the writing is alright. the character development relies on you being 17 and desperate for a love life. The adventures and risky situations feel without risk. Not once was I actually concerned that things would go wrong. In each pivotal scene you are steaming at the writer, not the character, to make a better decision, or to focus on the actual threat.

it was fun, but not riveting. The excitement of the sex scenes quickly faded.

Wish I could give 5 stars for performance!

Lucy Scott really brought the characters to life, and managed to inject so much humour into this recording. My one criticism- I did find it difficult at times to distinguish between the narrative and actual speech when it came to the MC.
The story was mostly captivating- I found some parts dragged a bit. Some repetitive conflicts slowed the story unnecessarily.

not a bad ending

i enjoyed this trilogy...mainly...there was the occasional hiccup with the narrator confusing her voices and far too many sex scenes and Kat constantly self doubting but overall enjoyable and easy to listen to

Way to much whinging

I enjoyed the first two books. This book should only of been half the length. It feels like the author ran out of ideas so just padded out the word count with internal angst rubbish that had already been resolved in the previous book and turned the heroine into a pathetic damsel in distress. I had to skip forward several chapters at a time to get through all the cringe worthy parts just to get the general gist and find out the end result of the first two books that I enjoyed. Very disappointing.
