About this listen

Morgan has been banned from hunting until she learns to control her powers and her impulsive nature. Her team is so focused on her training, she feels more alone and alienated than ever. She must make the heartbreaking decision to stay and fight for the men who mean everything to her or turn her back on the Academy to survive.

But the choice is taken from her when the Academy is viciously attacked and Morgan is abducted and dumped into the primordial realm. Abandoned and unable to get back to the Academy, Morgan must take a crash course in survival in this alien world.

As she investigates the deadly mist sweeping through the realm, she is horrified to discover her team has followed her, determined to earn back her trust. With their lives in danger, Morgan will do whatever it takes to save them, even if it means entering Tartarus and uncovering the secrets of the forgotten gods.

With the cure in hand, they must defeat monsters from myths and legends - and their worst nightmares - and escape the gates of hell or risk becoming forever trapped and forced to watch the destruction of their world.

Contains mature themes.

Great series

Continuing of the story in the first book. Learn lots about each of the assassins and their personalities and traits.

*Heart Of The Assassins*

For some reason, this book is not as well put together as the first one, I had a hard time following the story, it's all over the place, it was scattered and didn't get the same height as the first book. Traci Odom is excellent as always.

Dont waste your money or Time. Sorry

where do i even begin. the first book was pretty decent. i actually enjoyed it so when i was ready for book 2 i did my research on whether the RH aspect would be a little more or a quick burn. fyi its not. So despite the plethora of reviews which sound almost like mine now i thought naw, ill give this book a chance. i should have listened to the reviews. The FMC is annoying. no other words to describe it. Absolutely every choice she makes gets her guys injured or captured etc. Yet somehow she is still their world. its almost like she literally has no forethought at all. i really despised her by the end of maybe chapter 12. it was aganising trying to push through the rest of the chapters. the story seemed disjointed, rushed. too many ideas at once. the only word i can describe it was chaotic. Maybe annoying as well.

I honestly hate to leave a bad review because i admire the first book. this book fell woefully short of the mark. I will probably buy any other books in the series but that's just my OCD, i cannot leave series unfinished.
