Publisher's Summary

From the USA Today best-selling author Rina Kent comes a new dark mafia romance.

I’m a man with no morals or feelings.

The only reason I made it this far is to reign.

Nothing and no one will stop me.

Or that should’ve been the plan.

Now, my only goal is to get back the woman who belongs to me.

Sasha thinks it’s all over, but we’re only getting started.

She’s my woman. My partner. My wife.

Mine.

This book is the final part of a trilogy and can't be listened to on its own.

Decent read. Solid 4.5 stars

This book was well written and had some decent laughs. The combination of Sebastian York 🥵 and the duet narration was 👌.

OMG, the slaughter scene in the opening prologue was devastating. Incredibly written and performed 😢
Kirill and Sasha were very quick to agree on a 3-month term. If she really detested him and wanted him dead, why not one month or a few weeks? Anyway...
A few times the FMC narrator slipped over her words which makes action scenes a bit jarring. The ending wasn’t overly surprising, but still really good and enjoyable. Was a great trilogy and I’ll definitely be reading more Rina Kent.

Kirill was so obsessed with Aleksandra

What a final book in the Monster trilogy. There was so m6ch happening, and I couldn't wait to see how it would all end.

There were times of misunderstanding that led to bad situations. I felt like Aleksandra was disregarding common sense to maintain her stance against Kirill.

Kirill is still a favourite of mine. He was so sure of his feelings for Aleksandra. Unfortunately, his upbringing meant he kept things close to his chest and didn't share plans, even when it appeared like he'd lost all reason.

I was fascinated when there was an updated tally of the times Kirill was inside Aleksandra. It demonstrated his obsession with her.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good duet style audio.

The relationships are great

I read this series for the plot. Now I can here you sniggering, thinking this is one of those memes where the plot is then some hunky beast that you want to climb like a tree (fictionally of course). Well ... no.
Don’t get me wrong, there was a hunky main character and in the beginning he even had those swoony qualities I like to theoretically drool over. Kirill was what main characters are made from and objectionably I can see the allure. This however, was not why I kept reading, frankly the love connection was somewhat lacking in my opinion. I can kind of see why Sasha would be enamoured, he was a great fighter, wealthy, head of the mafia-like thingy, ambitious. Sure.
On the flipside, it kind of felt like Sasha could have been anyone for Kirill, as long as she was happy to be choked with a belt during intercourse, he was going to be on board. Not that there is anything wrong with that particular desire, it’s just that it felt like it didn’t go any further than that. Three books and I could not list three things either of them liked about the other.
Enough about that though - the plot, the stuff in the background was actually kind of great. There were lots of twists and turns. So many lies, so much betrayal, so many hidden identities, hidden love interests.
So as utterly unbelievable it may be, these books were actually read for the plot!
