About this listen

Thoroughly enjoyable!
I've listened to the series in English and in German. I love Rufus Beck's performance - brilliant reading and interpretation of the original. text. I appreciate his theatrical talents which bring to life the varied and numerous characters exactly as I imagined them while reading them in English. Some books only need a skilled narrator to make them accessible and enjoyable. The Harry Potter books deserve a magical performamnce by a skilled voice actor like Rufus Beck.

Didn’t like the narrator at all
Narrator trying too hard with too much. It’s not a theatre production. Also the foreign accents attributed and mispronunciation of names/words is not true to the story
