Publisher's Summary
After fighting in the war for 12 years, Alec "A-Train" Jacob returns to the United States to find out while he was away, things changed drastically at home. In an effort to find peace of mind - and hopefully a new beginning - he rides his motorcycle from Wichita, Kansas to Austin, Texas.
Filled with a desire to continue to protect those who he sees as a victim, he's always quick to step in and assist anyone in need. Through a newfound friend, he meets a woman who was the victim of as random act of violence. Initially, he hopes for nothing in return but the satisfaction of helping her.
Katie "Bug" Ripton is attempting to quietly recover from being the victim of an assault. When she meets Alec, she sees a man who is kind, considerate, and not only capable of comforting her, but willing to protect her from harm. Apart, their lives are empty and seem to be haunted by the memories of their pasts.
Together, their pasts disappear, and a future begins to unfold. A future every girl dreams of obtaining, but few ever do.
Hard Corps is a stand-alone, HEA, no cheating, no sex outside the relationship romance novel.

Amazing honest real
I felt this book on audio to be truely honest
Like the characters were with me
Thoughts on a persons demeanour how They are as a person, their faith in god their faith in people
Scott covered it all.
As usual their is something about whether you are reading or listening to a SH book
It is a sense of realism with the characters the story and their lives
I thank you deeply for taking the time to give me a book that not only gave me such great memories but lessons I had not forgotten, just maybe had put aside and needed reminding
One a person should not ever scroll past is this particular book
Thank you

Not quite what I anticipated but nice.
Nice story.
Enjoyable male (basically all) narration.
I've read quite a few of Scott's MC romance novels and this one is very Christian. Not what I'm used to hearing from his other stories. Was still nice for a change.
Just don't expect much raunchy stuff in this one.

Couldn’t finish it
Has I known this was going to be Religious with it coming up throughout the book I wouldn’t have started it whatsoever. It was poured on thicker than syrup.
Also a real biker doesn’t call his bike a ‘motorcycle!’
He said, I said, she said, I said ….. it was like reading a story written by a child.

Depressing
It’s was so depressing. And the main character seems quite old fashioned, chauvinistic. The female lead was meek and as if she was “just “ a female
