About this listen
The latest thriller in the Tom Keeler series, Hard Candy is an action packed story with more twists than a bag of pythons.
A woman fallen. Crumpled to the train platform, lying face up on the frozen cement, her life hanging by a thread.
A misplaced package. Hunted by people who will do anything to get it back.
The man with the familiar face. An old enemy working for a powerful new organization.
A crypto billionaire. He might be the richest man on earth, but money can’t save him from a professional hit team.
Tom Keeler. Traveling by train from Canada to New York City, Keeler gets stranded in the town of Kitchewan Landing. A blizzard’s coming down with the polar vortex, and an evil wind is blowing through town.
The Tom Keeler books can be listened to in any order. If you listen to only one book this year, this is it. A dazzling tour de force from the mind of one of the most talented writers working today. Action, adventure, courage, evil, and characters you can sink your teeth into. If you're looking for a new thriller series that will stay with you long after you finish it, look no further.
Recommended for fans of Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp, Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne, and Brad Thor's Scot Harvath.

Good story let down by monotone narration
I was hoping for a better experience than this. The narrator is so monotone I almost went to sleep. I agree with the others, where is Jeff Harding?

Why change the narrator?
Great book as always, but awful whispering nattation. No expression or excitement. Why make the change? This guy puts me to sleep in minutes.

Bring back Jeff Harding
The first three books were narrated by Jeff Harding and were great! Unfortunately this book was narrated by someone else and it didn’t work. I won’t be listening to any more Jack Lively books until Jeff Harding narrates them.

Terrible Narration
This would have been much better with Jeff Harding. The narration ruined the story for me.

Narration was bland and monoronous
Story was average I guess, did not hold my attention espescially the narrator.
I could easily have put this down half way through it and not listened to it again.
Not a great book, On the low side of average I would put it.

Change of Narrator was disappointing
The previous books in this series were read by Jeff Harding, which made them sound like Jack Reacher books. Some may think this is a bad thing but for me this narrator sucked all the excitement out of the book.

Proof that a narrator can make or break a story...
Really loved the previous audio books in this series. However this one was a struggle. "Un-listenable"

4th installment a let down
I really looked forward to this book. The previous three sounded like Jack Reacher stories. Unfortunately, Hard Candy read Luke it was written by a different author to the previous three.
Jeff Harding could have possibly saved the book with his excellent delivery, but even that wasn't to be, as the publisher brought somebody else to the job.
Disappointment all around.
