About this listen
Thousands of people have told me the one thing they're searching for in life is happiness. So, I set out on a dragon-free quest to prove if 'happy' is, actually, an attainable goal and not just a ridiculous aspiration.
In this book, with her characteristic humour and gutsy intelligence*, Turia Pitt goes on a quest to answer the question, Is it possible to be happier?
What does she discover on her journey? Well, look, that's why we want you to buy the bloody book, but we can tell you that it entails, among other things, practising gratitude, working on kindness, self-love, strengthening your relationships and accepting the hard times and bad days.
Turia unpacks all of the above with easy-to-implement tips and strategies and hilarious insights into her own life and relationships, and she introduces us to some of the world's most fabulous people along the way, including Leigh Sales, Scott Pape, Zoe Foster Blake, Maria Forleo and Mick Fanning.
*She made us say that.

Uplifting book, if judging yourself harshly
Easy listening, makes you stop and think if others, and yourself, are judging you harshly. Showing ways to be your own Best friend.

Turia Pitt is an amazing woman and this book is a great ‘pick me up’
It’s not preachy, just a list of things to consider if you want to explore ways to make your life feel more enriched, more enjoyable and balanced. Turia shares her own stories and stories of others and applies research findings to support her ideas. I have no complaints about the narrator, she has done a great job, but I would have preferred to have this book entirely narrated by Turia. Turia’s experiences are unique and you can hear through her voice she is a woman who has seen and experienced many things, this is something the narrator cannot provide so it impacts the delivery of some of the more emotional subjects. Overall I highly recommend this ‘feel-good’ book!

Amazing book, disappointing narration
The content of the book is great. I love Turia and I really wish she narrated the whole thing.
The other narrator was so frustrating. I felt like I was listening to a year 9 drama performance. It really ruined it for me.

Excellent content - Buy the hard copy!
I would have loved Turia to have narrated the entire book. I struggled listening to the other narrator at times being to over animated and at times over emphasizing on topics at wrong timing etc. I started to switch off a bit because of this. However, I loved the content!!!

Buy the hard copy
I love Turia and her previous books, and I’ve done the school of champions course so I was looking forward to this book.
The content is great but I wish it was narrated by Turia. The narrator comes across as smug and condescending which I find difficult to listen to.

Brilliant content, total mismatch with narration
Love this, absolutely love Turia and gained so much from her warmth, practical strategies and personal experiences. However felt the narrator really detracted from the heart and soul of the message, she sounds more suited to chick lit.
