About this listen
Mikey is a Romany Gypsy and grew up living in a caravan on sites across the UK. He adored his family and the rich and vibrant Romany culture he'd inherited. Eventually though he was forced to make a heartbreaking decision - to stay and keep secrets, or escape and find somewhere to finally belong. But Mikey quickly discovers that life in the outside world isn't all he expected. After learning his father had put a contract out on him and that he was being hunted down by gangs of thugs determined to claim their reward, Mikey realises that life will never be the same again.
Brimming with unforgettable characters, this extraordinary coming-of-age story will remind you that sometimes it takes courage (and the odd Disney song) to be the person you were meant to be.

Much of the same
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
If you have read the first book then is is just more of the same with a bit more padding. Whilst enjoyable to a degree, nowhere near as shocking and moving as Gypsy Boy.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Less going over old stuff the first 4 chapters are just reiterating Gypsy Boy
Did Mikey Walsh do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
Yes and new people in his life like Harry are very well illustrated
If this book were a film would you go see it?
NO this book is a bit of a whinge and a lot of self reflection wouldn't really make a good film but YES for Gypsy Boy
Any additional comments?
Only if you are really keen on Mikey Walsh's writing should you buy this, its really not that interesting
