Did not want it to end
I've recently discovered Marian and I am obsessed. I don't want any of her books to end. But this one in particular was amazing. I hope someone makes it into a TV show.

Great story
Love the story, love the author’s performance.
Just a bit of poor editing resulting in an absence of gap between topic changes.
Definitely recommend!

Family dynamics on steroids - loved it!
Beautifully drawn characters faced with fascinating scenarios, told with Marian’s inimitable wit and empathy. Completely relatable, hilarious and deeply moving.

Marian Keyes is back!
Great story, great characters and a great performance. The relationships in this book were really believable and some of the characters were so likeable that I found myself hoping things would go a certain way for them to be happy. After a few disappointments with Marian Keyes’ more recent work, this was funny, heart warming and truly entertaining. Really enjoyed this!

Another masterful story from this prolific writer
Marian Keyes has provided an insight into the complexity of family: the ups and downs, the losses and gains , the sorrows and happinesses, the negotiations and resolutions that intimate relationships incur. An engrossing read.

Marian has mastered the art of writing loveable, relatable and familiar characters that before long feel like you're part of their family, with really great drama, juicy secrets, heartbreaking moments and lots of lols! brilliant as always!!

What a joy to listen too
Absolutely loved this book. Funny, thoughtful, sad and a joy to read. Didn’t want it to end. Particularly loved the narration, nothing better than an Irish accent!

Marian does a fantastic job narrating!
Keyes' books aren't always my bag but loved this one! I was worried when I read r eviews that said narration was difficult to follow but I didn't find that at all!?? It was lovely to listen to and Marain really brought all her characters to life!

Great story!
This book was a great listen and I frequently had it on throughout my day as I couldn’t wait to find out the ending. Well worth a listen. The only downside would be that the recording at parts seemed to have breaks where it shouldn’t or not have big enough break gaps between paragraphs. It didn’t always ‘flow’ as you might expect. Overall, well worth a listen.
