Another wonderful book
I have read all of Marian Keyes' books. She never fails to deliver engaging stories with characters that are real. Her insights and observations of life are often hilarious and always ring true. This book is another winner. I loved it and didn't want it to end.

Didn’t want it to end.
Fans of Marian Keyes will love this one. I loved the characters and I loved the realistic portrayal of the problems and addictions. I miss the characters since I finished! Marian’s reading was great too!

Hard to stop listening!
I found myself talking back at this book, asking why would you do that/say that/be that? That is because I got very invested in all of their lives and found it hard to turn off, as if I was leaving them in the middle of a crisis. I selected this book so I could listen to Marian herself read one of her own and this was a joy. I felt as though this was exactly how the tale should be told.

Marian holds the keys to a great read yet again
As with all of her books, Marian has a plethora of diverse themes and characters that are complicated and wonderful. This was my first timing listening and I'm glad to know for all those books previous that I was pronouncing eejit in my head correctly

Interesting subject matter
Hard to get into but worth sticking with
I liked the characters and themes
Did not like the way the story jumped around
Marian Keyes reading her own work did not work for me
Enjoy her writing though, always funny and interesting

Absolutely loved this!
Loved how the characters came together and how some real and raw ideas were explored... Thank you, this kept my spirits high through the Covid-19 lockdown!

Loved it
Really enjoyed this audio. Love listening to Marian narrate her own books.
Would love to see a PDF of the family tree like they have in the book. There are so many characters linked in this story, I would have found it very helpful.

Loved, loved, loved it
I loved this story from the beginning.
The characters seemed very real and relatable as were the highs and lows in their lives. I laughed and cried and was thoroughly entertained.
The Irish accent and sayings made it “gas”

Ugly Crying and Raucous Laughter!
Marian Keyes took me on a ride where I was thrust into Ireland and all its beauty, intertwined with the Casey’s and Kinsella families and all their exquisite dramas. After each chapter I was inspired to live out the experiences she shared and have frequently eaten out at some adventurous restaurants while being locked in the land of ‘Grown ups’. My own secrets were shared with some of the characters in this ‘shining little gem’, and conversations with my dearest girlfriends have been enriched by the shared joy we have found in this story. At times I found myself sobbing as I listened to Marian tell me a heart-wrenching truth while roaring down the freeway on my way home from work. And other moments I drove straight past my destination waiting for the chapter to end so I could then re-commence my life.
Thank you! Next!

Enjoyable but a meh in parts ...
The story was long winded for me. There were parts of the story which I feel didn't add value and should have been edited out. The key messages in the story could have been explored more. Overall the book was enjoyable.
