Great book; more than just a movie
The founder movie is a great introduction to the story of McDonalds. However this book provides much more substance and background to Ray Kroc’s story. Highly recommend.

Kroc had an amazing life philosophy
Inspirational, honest, and a great demonstration of a life lived with determination and grit. Highly recommended.

Really interesting until the final few chapters
Most of the book was really interesting and worthwhile. It loses its way near the end though when he starts rambling on about his baseball and refuting criticism of McDs corporate practices.

Amazing
I started listening and for a second forgot that I was even listening, I was lost in the ins and outs of McDonalds and Ray Krocs life, wished it never ended, if you have listened then your missing out on the best book I have ever listened to.
