About this listen

Billy saw the recipe book.

With trembling hands, he opened it up to the first page, and it was for a chili recipe.

As he read it, he had to stifle a scream in his throat, in fear of ending up like the people in the pictures:

  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced red/green peppers
  • 1 dash salt and pepper
  • 1 dash all purpose seasoning
  • 1 cup human blood
  • 1 cup finely shredded human flesh

He stopped reading at that point.

He sat there for a few moments, that seemed more like an eternity, his whole body shaking and sweat streaming down into his eyes. He felt bile coming up in his throat and had to force it back down, choking on it, as he thought, I used to love Grandma's chili.

It was at that moment he realized his sweet little harmless but quite annoying Grandma was a cannibal.
