About this listen

A Gotrek Gurnisson audio drama collection.

One of the most enduring characters in Warhammer fiction has made the leap to the Mortal Realms, and this series of audio dramas will give you fresh insight into what makes the Realmslayer tick.

Listen to it because...in the World-that-Was, Gotrek Gurnisson was a whirlwind of fury on a quest for redemption. In the Mortal Realms, he remains a whirlwind of fury on a quest for redemption - and where slaying the worst that the worlds of Warhammer have to offer is concerned, there's a lot to be said for consistency. Come along for the ride with the slayer himself with this collection of Gotrek audio dramas written by David Guymer.

Campy, hammy fun with lots of yelling.

An entertaining romp with Gotrek and his new allies as he travels across the Mortal Realms looking for his old friend, Felix.

The performances are excellent, especially with Brian Blessed as Gotrek and I do love the Skaven voices. I do wish the stories in the collection were structured a bit better as I found it hard to keep up with at times. It doesn't help that a lot of the time it's just people fighting and screaming though this is a Warhammer audio drama so it was bound to happen. That said there is one character who keeps screaming in Blood of the Old World and it really is obnoxiously annoying so I suggest maybe turning down the volume when she enters the scene.

You do get some bang with your buck here as this comes with three stories, all performed with high production value so if you enjoy the Age of Sigmar universe and want some simple skull crushing action with a fan favourite character then I highly recommend it.

Gotrek Realmslayer

Great story and good to see Gotrek in AoS, as a fan who’s read all the books this one does not disappoint must listen.

The only dislike is it’s a little fast paced and could have been tempered a little. Or possibly lower the volume of the sound effects.
