Holes in the story

The first book was pretty good, but this one had more than a few holes. In the furst book, Ryan mentioned there is no need to poop, but it was a thing here. Small holes like Randy suddenly getting money and a few unexplained plot twists with Gene. Enjoyed the story but liked the first one much better.
