About this listen
A game-changing, practical guide to the psychology behind your spending habits, revealing how to manage your money without missing out on the things you love.
Have you ever avoided looking at your banking app after a big night out? Placed an online order during a late-night doom scroll? Or felt helpless when your new budget simply failed to stick, despite your best intentions? If this sounds familiar, this is the book for you.
In the age of smartphones and social media, we're surrounded by an endless stream of stuff to buy. From social conditioning around what makes us happy to fast fashion, algorithmic advertising and 'where did you get that' culture, there are a fair few traps that keep us from being 'Good With Money'. But financial behaviour expert Emma Edwards is here to help you overcome them.
In Good With Money, Emma will help you unpack the reasons you're so emotionally tangled with your money (spoiler: it's absolutely not your fault) and what might be keeping you stuck. She'll teach you to reclaim your decision-making, deep-dive into your beliefs, identity and habits, and come out the other side feeling 'Good With Money'.
With a step-by-step guide to creating a money management system that actually works, Good With Money will change the way you think about budgeting, consumption and yourself, and put you back in the driver's seat of your own financial future.

So relatable
Emma makes everything to do with money so much more relatable. First book I've finished in a very long time.

Actual USEABLE content, for anyone!
All the finance books tell you what to do, suggest a deep dive into the psychological reasons you may overspend or struggle to save, but this book is the deep dive I've been after for years! I knew the issues at hand but didn't know how to tackle them. I've shared it with my husband and told my daughter (13yrs) that she must have a listen (note: a bit of swearing, but nothing she hasn't heard lol) because I don't want her growing up and wondering why the hell she can't make it work on a decent income. Love this! Will be buying the physical version to have on the book shelf as well.

I feel so seen by this book!
Not your average money book! Most money books I’ve read tell me how to make a budget and plan out expenses but this book goes deeper in the emotions that go into money, I feel so seen and can relate to Emma so much throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to be good with money.

A really thoughtful insight into why we feel the way we do about money
I listen to Emma’s podcast so was excited to get the audiobook, and it did not disappoint! I’ve read A LOT of books on personal finance and the psychology of money but this looks at it from a bit of a different perspective and so many things resonated with me. Like how we use money to outsource our identity and why we feel the need to get rid of our money, which I’d always thought was so irrational, but now I feel like I have an understanding of why I do it and how I can change. If you want to take control of your finances, rather than letting them control you, then get this book!

Warmth and feel good guide that actually sticks
I have read every finance book under the sun, though this one personalises and tailors it to you better than anything i’ve come across. It makes you feel good about yourself and breaks down the psychology behind money with actionable steps that are easy, and quite fun and make you feel awesome. I actually am going to be good with money now!!!! Thank you Emma!!
