.. وكشف مصطفى أمين في مقال في "أخبار اليوم" أن قائد الثورة هو جمال عبد الناصر، وذلك من خلال سلسلة مقالات تحت عنوان "سر الضباط التسعة" فغضب جمال عبد الناصر لذلك، وأمر الرقيب بعدم نشر بقية المقالات... وصدر قرار بالعفو عن المتهمين بقتل المستشار الخازندار، والنقراشي، وذلك في إطار مصالحة ثورة يوليو مع الإخوان! .. وصدر قانون تنظيم الأحزاب الذي نصَّ على قيام كل حزب بتطهير نفسه، أي إقصاء الأحزاب سيئة السمعة، وتقدم فتحي رضوان بإخطار إعلان قيام الحزب الوطني الجديد. وسط هذه الأجواء الملتهبة وُلد العم جلال عامر الذي شاء القدر أن يرحل في أجواء مشابهة تمامًا!
