About this listen

A former model, a grumpy lawyer, and a single dad walk into an audition for a children's musical.... They’re all Miles Brodie. It’s only cute if you aren’t the director who’s being bribed to cast his daughter.

Dear Mr. Cross,

Re: our discussion

  1. True. Casting my daughter as the lead in your musical could be considered bribery if people find out I’m investing in it, but no one needs to know.
  2. I only want to hire you as Macy’s singing coach so her vocal skills will improve.
  3. Maybe if you’d spent less time surfing and more on your singing career, you wouldn’t be in this financial predicament.
  4. Re: your living situation—my neighbor has a guest house. If you cast Macy as Alice, I will pay for your first three months’ rent.

Do we have a deal?

Best regards,

Miles Brodie

Dear Mr. Brodie,

  1. It absolutely is bribery, but I absolutely need that money for my production. Thanks!
  2. It is very cute that you will do anything to get Macy this part, but I would only coach that sweet child as a favor to all mammals with functional hearing.
  3. If I spend less time surfing, will you spend less time jogging on my beach with your shirt off?
  4. You want to pay me to live next door so you don’t have to drive anywhere to frown at me?
  5. I have another condition for casting Macy as Alice—you have to perform the part of the Cheshire Cat.

Purrrrrrr,

Aria

This is a stand-alone multicast duet audiobook in the Brodie Brothers series. Narrated by Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright. Featuring Teddy Hamilton, Zachary Webber, Emma Wilder, Emily Woo Zeller, and Connor Crais.

Brodie Boy Goodness continues…

This review isn’t going to give you a rundown on how the book plays out because unless you’re new gear, Kayley Loring has served up yet another fantabulous sexy love story involving the very swoon worthy Brodie Boys.

This is the third instalment of these hot mess brothers and frankly, you should read (listening is better!) to the first two, because, holy hotness on a fudgesicle, you are missing out.

Yet again Kayley’s clever word play and creation of such fun characters will have you totally enthralled. Loved everything about it, all the stars, & I want in on that group text!

Thank Kayley. What a ride!

Listening to this book is a must!

This is the final book in the Brodie Brothers series and is my favourite of the three. It has everything, a swoony romance, hilarious fart jokes and an engaging story line and singing!

The narrators are all top shelf. There is the duet narration with the fabulous Jason Clarke 😍and the magnificent Mackenzie Cartwright. Smaller parts played by Connor Crais, Emma Wilder, Emily Zoo Weller, Zachary Webber and Teddy Hamilton were fabulous. It was so entertaining to listen to.

I would recommend listening to all 3 books in this series as they are all great but this could be listened as a standalone too.

Finding your voice

This was a sweet story with some very funny lines delivered beautifully by the main narrators. I am not a big fan of duet narration, but Mackenzie and Jason may just have made me a believer!

Not a favourite

I didn't have as much fun with this as others. Narrators were mostly good- especially Jason. The Aussie voice and language was cringe worthy. I am an Aussie who never hears this 'typical' Aussie lingo, and the accent was way off.
I didn't like most of the music, extended passages of kids doing a musical.
I didn't like echoes of the College Admission scandal in the plot, with the hero making deals and paying to give his child her dream ( while thereby blocking other kids who may have been more worthy from getting theirs. This character was also grumpy too long and was directive and controlling at the start of the first ( VERY long sex scene). Turn off.
Don't want to get too grumpy myself. Jason got me through to the end but didn't enjoy it as others did.
