Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She's supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. Poor narration

Note: Audible version.
Written in a style most likely aimed at school aged children.
The story is mildly interesting but the narration really spoils it.
The narrator sometimes sounds like he’s calling a sports event, and other times like a newsreader.
I gave it a fair go, but unfortunately I can’t continue with it.
