About this listen

Fear. Rejection. Addiction. Anger. Comfort...must fall.

It's likely you have a threatening giant in your life...an adversary or stronghold that's diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. Frozen in the grip of rejection, fear, anger, comfort, or addiction, we lose sight of the promise God has for our lives. Demoralized and defeated, we settle for far less than his best.

God has a better plan for you, a plan for you to live in victory. That's why he has silenced your giant once and for all.

In Goliath Must Fall, pastor Louie Giglio uncovers a newfound twist in the classic story of David and Goliath. The key to living free from our giants is not better slingshot accuracy but keeping our eyes on the one and only giant-slayer - Jesus. Put your hope in him, and watch Goliath fall.

Forgettable and theoretical

This was another lame and forgettable Christian ‘how to’ book. More story telling & theory than revelation

Concerned

Listening to this book has me questioning a lot about the evangelical messages brought about in this book. To reference David as Jesus even in theology is heresy. I also feel like you read the Bible and either miss the whole message or change it to sound what you want it to say. If you read the New Testament Paul often speaks of the hardship of taking up your cross and living for Jesus. Jesus states to die to self and take up your cross that means to renounce worldly behavior not soften it or make god fit into todays life our life is to fit into god. If your read the whole Bible he is the great I Am he was the same yesterday today and tomorrow. He doesn’t change he is constant perfection anything less and he wouldn’t be god. Then there’s the talk of riches. They arnt worldly they are Riches in heaven. Yes god can bless you in this world. But anything of this world is not of god. It even says it’s harder for a rich man to get into heaven then a poor man. Truth be told I wish I could get my credit back.
