Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Rina Kent comes a new stand-alone dark college romance.

I’m out for revenge. After careful planning, I gave the man who messed with my family a taste of his own medicine. I thought it’d end there. It didn’t.

Landon King is a genius artist, a posh rich boy, and my worst nightmare. He’s decided that I’m the new addition to his chess game. Too bad for him, I’m no pawn.

If he hits, I hit back, twice as hard and with the same hostility. He says he’ll ruin me. Little does he know that ruination goes both ways.

This book can be listened to on its own, but for a better understanding of the world, you might want to start with God of Malice.

Mia and Landon💕

I totally swooned on this one.
Landon was quite a surprise for me after reading Rina Kent’s other 3 books. Who would have thought I would love Landon’s character.
Definitely would recommend this book. Will totally be listening to this one again
Now I must listen to Rina’s other books in audible. ❤️

Landon redeemed himself

Landon's story was always bound to be explosive. He didn't leave the best impression in previous books, so I was curious how his connection with Mia was going to develop and how I'd feel about him throughout this story. He definitely redeemed himself in my eyes.

Mia was dealing with past trauma and seemed to soak in everything Landon showed her capable of.

It is an enjoyable book in the Legacy of Gods series. I'm curious how Eli and Ava's story will go, and I'm looking forward to more messages in the Elites chat group.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.

Pushing the point too much

4.5 for me!
Either the more I read Rina Kent, the more I like the characters and their stories, or the possessive, obsessive nature of these characters is more my style. I'm not sure, but I have found myself more invested in the stories as the multiverse has continued.
Landon was a bit repetitive in the beginning, reminding us of his personality, I perhaps would have enjoyed more showing and less telling, but then as his connection with Mia continues I found myself hoping for a HEA for them. The way they round each other out and help conquer each other's demons is sweet.
I could have had some more pop-ins from Nikolai and Brndon, but that's a me kind of thing.
This was the right amount of dark and gripping, a great twins and teins story.

God of Ruin

Lan and Mia’s dynamic is amazing, they are both strong willed characters and don’t back down from a challenge, Shane and McKenzie did such an amazing job bringing these two to us in audio
