 Proprio di fronte alla casa di Go-Ghi-Gò c'era una grande chiesa con un campanile alto alto e quattro grandi campane che suonavano così forte "DIIIIIINNNN! DOOOOOONNNN! DAAAAAANNNN!" da doversi tappare le orecchie per il gran rumore che facevano. Tutti si chiedevano chi fosse il campanaro di quella chiesa, doveva di certo essere un tizio grosso e forzuto per suonare con così tanto vigore. Ma, in verità, nessuno l'aveva mai visto...

Dopo ogni scampanata, compariva sempre sul balcone di Go-Ghi-Gò un grande gatto nero con un ciuffetto bianco sul naso. Se ne stava lì per un po' a sonnecchiare sulla sedia e poi, quando si svegliava, se ne andava via silenzioso così come era venuto.

Go-Ghi-Gò era molto incuriosito da questo strano gatto e avrebbe voluto chiedergli cosa facesse via di lì. Ma, non appena gli si avvicinava, lui scappava via veloce come un lampo.
