Brilliant, captivating, relatable
I finished Dirt Town and immediately listened to this. Very engaging, and the plot continues to thicken. Perfection.

Couldn’t stop listening
This is a gripping story from start to finish. A great look at female friendships and relationships with very unexpected turns. Beautifully read, easy to listen to.

Enjoyable
I like the way the author builds a sense of place and how she details friendships. I found the denouement a little disappointing though.

A heart-rending portrait of a toxic friendship
I got so absorbed by this book, though it made me anxious and angry. The ending is beautifully complicated. Perfect for book clubs

I didn’t finish it.
Too much waffle and not enough about the mystery. If I had known it would be filled with lesbian love making I would not have bought it. Please make this clear in the preview. There is a section for these books and it is not in the general mystery category.
