About this listen
CAS
They call me Ghost for a reason. Silent and in the shadows, I don't make my move until I am absolutely sure of everything. Four years ago I was sure about Jenna. My best friend's kid sister had grown up into a spitfire I couldn't resist. One night we stopped resisting.
We promised we'd keep it a secret. It was a one-time mistake, but we'd put it behind us. Jenna left but I kept my word. Jenna tried to get out of our corrupt town, but it pulled her back in again. Now she needs help. She needs protection. I'll do all of that for her, if she'll just shut the hell up and let me. She can even keep all of her secrets, except for one....
JENNA
The Lords of Carnage MC has haunted me from the moment I was born. No matter how much I try to get away, they are there - waiting to pull me back into the life that stole my father, my mother, and then my brother from me. The ghosts of my past keep rising from the dead. Now the past is stirring again, and all I want to do is run away. I'm back in the world I fled, and the secrets and lies of my whole family are about to be laid bare. But it's not just me anymore. I've got my little boy to look out for, too. I'm his only family. And his father has no idea he exists.
I swore I would never go back to the MC. I swore I would never make the same mistakes again. But making mistakes with Casper Watkins is too hard to resist....
Contains mature themes.

haven't listened to Ms Loveling for awhile
now that it's Been awhile since I have submerged myself into an MC romance I can say that Ms Loveling writes in the same tone as Lily Atlas. ( although Lily does write a little deeper in plot, character and MC ways. even though this story pace is steady, the club is portrayed with a lighter side intent, nothing gritty or gut wrenching.
The mystery was good and even though one could piece it together fairly quickly it was still nice to listen to the characters jigsaw it together.
I liked both H's although the big climactic scene to the plotline..(well 2 of them actually) was a tad flat...it could of and had potential to get a lot grittier but in the vein of the tone and story I think it went were it should have. steam was definitely there and the connection between the 2 H's was electric.
Troy Duran has a good voice for an MC member and I enjoy his inflections.
Jillian Macie, in my opinion has to be careful as her tone could cover an almost teen aged character. but in saying that, Jenna definitely does not come across as super young.
I think these 2 narrators worked well together to bring these characters to life.

Wow
Loved this story of a second chance. She was down on her luck and had to return home. He knew as soon as he saw her again that she was his. But she had a little secret. Her dad had one too and had to disappear. But all came together in the end.
Narration was awesome.

Loved this!
Such a cute romance. Little to no twist which is perfect for those looking for a feel good romance. I was kind of listening to this just waiting for the other shoe to drop but when it did it didn’t really turn out as expected. Otherwise a great read. Exactly what the blurb tells you. I hope you love this just as much as I did. Enjoy!

Enjoyed
A lovely MCbook which is good to listen to. Both narrators have done a great job. The story itself is good but in saying that , a little more drama in the book would of been great
Total 5 stars over all and I will be definately buying more of this authors books

Painful
I don't like giving negative feedback but to be constructive I struggled with the audio book. I'm a huge fan of all MC novels but not all of them are unfortunately not on audible, so I searched for the MC books that were on here. Reading the reviews thought this series would be great, unfortunately it wasn't for me.
If I was picking this book to read i would be worried that it had 37 chapters, but audio time was about 5 hours, standard audio ive listen to was around 9 hours. This wS the first book of the series and the story dragged to understand the MC. The narrators were chalk and cheese they just didn't mix, female one reminds me of the Katee Robert's stories I've listened to as she puts the fairy tale voice on. I can't listen to the rest as it was that painful I fast tracked to end it quickly. sorry this series was not for me.
