'Half of life is planning' Middle Eastern Proverb
Hunter actually sets you on a path to first becoming an effective communicator, in order to become an effective marketer. He starts with the DON'TS. You know the things we all do... assume FaceBook is helping us by suggesting promotions, trusting digital marketing companies to act in our business' interest, believing that advertising agencies know our customers better than we do... then the DO's. You know the things we don't have time for... understanding our customer's wants, surveying clients to get some honest feedback about our product or service quality and performance. Then the one 'must'... you MUST know your customer's needs! If you start there, your business, marketing and operations plans are truly informed by an understood (and listened to) target market. Sound like a profitable idea? Can't wait for his next one...
