About this listen

GeorgeAnn Baseball is a recreation of an actual Major League Baseball game that occurred on May 26, 1959, between the Milwaukee Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Harvey "the Kitten" Haddix threw almost 13 perfect innings and even had the home town Milwaukee fans cheering for him before the end of the game. And they say lightning never strikes twice....

In GeorgeAnn Baseball, Taylor Jackson pitches his first varsity game on the same day he learns he is adopted. The baseball game becomes an emotional (sometimes humorous) struggle for Taylor to find out who he is, as well as an epic baseball skirmish between two strong high-school baseball teams. Taylor leans on his best friends and his teammates while pitching 12 perfect innings through a rainy Texas afternoon and comes out on the other end with a renewed faith in himself, his teammates, and his family.
