Treacherously Delectable

An amazing conclusion to the opening trilogy of the Heresy and An awe inducing kick off to the events that will reshape the Galaxy forever.

Narration is first class

This book is a great example of Gritty SciFi set in the Warhammer universe. A “conclusion” to the arc started in Horus Rising.

Tony Longworth’s narration is brilliant and helps lift the text into audio art.

Great read,

Pretty fun listen! Of the trilogy, this was definitely the weakest but it still hooked me in.

also the narration is great, solid work by him!

Lucky Number Three

Of the three first novels in the series, this one is the most fluently written and paced. Considering everyone likely knows what’s going to happen, the ‘how’ of it happening is well constructed and the characterisation is much stronger and more consistent than the previous novels.

I wish they would stop one thing!

Great story and an amazing performance! However, I wish they would turn down or completely remove the musical tracks that show up between each part, often chapter apart from each other. While they sound great and fit the theme, they are incredibly loud and each time they come on, I have to rip my earphone out or turn down my stereo fast. Be cautious of this!

3rd HH book I’ve listen to and “reads” the best so far. Flows well and more succinct.

The saga cpntinues

I didn't enjoy this as much as Horus Rising, but the narration and characters carry it a long.
I doubt this will pass the review Censors, but 40k fans will know the saying.
