About this listen

The first chapter of the Guardians of the Apocalypse saga (audiobooks one though four) chronicled the desperate opening weeks of the zombie plague as the crews of the Sass, True North, and Polar Star struggled for survival.

The second chapter (audiobooks five though eight) have followed the first batch of new recruits as they faced the rigors of boot camp, the dangers of a world overrun by once-human creatures turned into homicidal maniacs, and the impossibility of balancing the ever-increasing pace of operations with the necessity of surviving the experience.

It has all come down to the final two weeks of basic training. All they need to do in order to become full-fledged members of the United States Coast Guard is live long enough to graduate.
