About this listen
One monster wants my soul. One man wants my magic. Me? I want to be left alone to live my life out like a dull, one of the lucky people who were born devoid of magic. But that won't happen because being born a Wyrd blood gives me two choices in life: ruler or slave.
I'd rather die than be a slave, and I'm not cut out to rule. Instead, I've been hiding out in the valley. Life is pretty good here, with food in my belly and a warm bed in which to sleep. If I didn't get harassed constantly by Ryker, the man who wants my magic, it might be good enough to lull me into thinking life could continue on like this forever.
Until I get a message from Bones, the monster who owns my soul....
Contains mature themes.

Funny , sexy and light read
A surprisingly funny series with a hint at romance to come . It kept me interested and impatiently awaiting the next instalment

strong story childish robotic MC
I am really enjoying this story line as a whole and I like a lot of the characters but the MC isn’t really close to good enough. Their meant to be powerful and there definitely brave but oh so childish and annoying and narrated in a robotic voice. She is kinda pathetic as a character constantly complaining and can’t see the glaringly obvious right in front of her face the supporting characters spend excessive time showing her that her initial assumptions and prejudice were wrong but she is still childish and determined to stick to her blearingly obviously incorrect pre conceived notions. I really am enjoying the story line but the inadequacies of the MC are irritating and hard to ignore.
