About this listen
The New York Times best-selling security droid with a heart (though it wouldn't admit it!) is back in Fugitive Telemetry!
Having captured the hearts of audiences across the globe (Annalee Newitz says it's "one of the most humane portraits of a nonhuman I've ever read"), Murderbot has also established Martha Wells as one of the great SF writers of today.
No, I didn't kill the dead human. If I had, I wouldn't dump the body in the station mall.
When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people - who knew?).
Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans!
Again!

Good short story
A nice continuation of the story, but at four hours long I don't think it's value for money. I don't think I'll continue.

More humour, more sass but short
Good fun but short is the best way to describe it. I've read all the previous stories and this one felt like it had a little more humour and sass.
I hope the next one will be a bit more epic. Perhaps tackling a larger story arc, visiting other locations. Also a friend or a crew of characters would be great. A crew where you can really see how murderbot interacts with them, perhaps more bots. What happened to sec unit 3 from the previous story?. Maybe they could team up. How about a story where murderbot liberates other bots, maybe that could be the bigger arc. Focusing on how humans treat bots and how he can free them, then what happens to them. Maybe the make a bit colony!. There is so much potential here that I would love to see develop

Story and narration are both very good!
Loved Kevin R Free’s narration. Love the book. Love murderbot in all his confused, funny, genuine, anxious and angry glory.

Murderbot is all of us
Another emotionally awkward investigative thriller with our favourite security unit. Thoroughly enjoyable. Kevin Free’s narration does Martha Wells’ prose proud.

Magnificent Murderbot Murder Mystery
Martha Wells’ Murderbot books are all great, and Kevin Free’s narration is amazing. This is one of the best in the series, in part because it is self-contained.

I'm with everyone else.
This book is a great addition to the series. Less action this time and more mystery. The author is great. The reader is amazing. However, the book is very short which does mean it's a bit expensive.

Fabulous fun
Great to get some more time with Murderbot again. Fast paced with some great new characters and the wonderful acerbic internal monologues of our hero.
