my first introduction to the Faye genre
This has been a easy story to listen to, has been playing while at the gym and out and about. I'm probably going to purchase the book to read also. looking forward to book 2

A different take on fae romance
This book was a lot of fun to listen to, I really enjoyed the flow of it, as well as the dual POV. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series

it was a good palate cleanser
fast paced, gripping but not in a way that you want to stay awake listening to it. it was a nice break from more intense fantasy

What am I, Love
CN Crawford really bought us a wonderful epic first part of a fantasy/ paranormal story.
So far we have, loss, adventure into a world unknown, truths hidden, untruths exposed, drama.
I can’t wait to listen to the next instalment

Loved it!
Very enjoyable, funny FMC and delicious tense romance. Also Amanda the narrator is my all time fav, she brings such amazing nuance and realism to the characters, love her. Can’t wait for the next book

Fantastic!
Great story with a great range of characters. I really enjoyed them all, even the ones I didn’t like so much lol. Amanda did a fabulous job giving them all a voice - I never had to work out who was speaking. I did play it at 0.9 x which worked for me. I am now keen to listen to the next in series.

Ummm what?
What the actually eff. I LOVED IT! The start, the ending, all the in between. There is so much in this first book that I need a million more from this world. Cannot wait to read book 2!

Love it. Easy listen.
I loved the characters and wanted a book that wasn’t quite as intense as some others I’ve recently listened to, and this was exactly what I was after. The characters are interesting and there’s hidden secrets that leave you wanting to read the next book

Story and narrating was good. The story does sound similar to another book I have read. But was still good to listen too. Like the twist at the end.
