About this listen

Alan returns to podcasting, offering his unique perspective on life’s big questions, the hot-button issues of the day, his professional successes and the most intimate details of his personal life in a series he is already calling ‘seminal’. The second series will come partly from the oasthouse—in order to satisfy people who'd rather he didn’t mess with the format—and partly from other locations—to appeal to those who found the original format a bit limiting.

More Alan is a good thing

Fantastic stuff from Partridge, would like to hear how his relationship with the lovely Katrina develops.

Parkinson Rules!

Another great volume in the Parkinson oeuvre.
Maybe not as hilarious as Series 1 but that Oasthouse outing is tough to beat.
Can't wait for 'series 3'.

Great to listen to on walks.

Laughing to oneself in public (at an average of every 30 seconds) may seem unhinged to stuffy passersby but does it really matter? If you can't enjoy yourself every so often, you might just as well end it all.

Love Alan.

This is great. Approaching the highs of midmorning matters, it’s nice to have a pure Alan experience again. The recent BBC stuff was not as good partly because there were too many bits without Alan being Alan.

Partridge

It’s Alan Partridge for Christs sake. Absolutely brilliant stuff. Six more words required Alan Partridge.

True Comedy Genius

This is amongst the best Partridge material there is. Such a rich comedy character and a performer still at the top of his game.

Liquid Partridge

We are truly in the golden age of Alan Partridge and have been for well over a decade now. The Gibbons-Coogan revival of Partridge was my introduction to this venerable comic creation and it’s been a constant pleasure. Oasthouse has been a delightful foray into Alan’s rich inner life. Hilarious and often poignant.

MEGASTROPHIC!

The Alan Patrdige-verse continues to entertain and provide non stop comical hilarity. I thought Big Beacon was good but this was incredible. Highlight: When Alan is stuck in a tunnel and starts singing Joy Division.
