Matthew Perry was a Friends cast member, currently appears in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and stars in the new film Numb. He plays a screenwriter who is plagued by feelings of anxiety, detachment, and panic. He bounces around from psychiatrist to psychologist and is numb to everything around him. The story is based on an autobiographical script by Harris Goldberg who also made his directing debut with the film.

Then, Sarah Polley, who's making her directing debut with the new film Away from Her, based on a short story by Alice Munro. It's about a woman who develops Alzheimer's; Julie Christie stars. Polley has acted professionally since the age of six. She starred in the Atom Egoyan films Exotica and The Sweet Hereafter, as well as My Life Without Me and a remake of the cult horror film Dawn of the Dead. [Broadcast Date: April 30, 2007]
