Weirdly robotic reading

A very strange experience, you’d expect a book on French style to be read by someone with a warm and engaging voice, even possibly a hint of a French accent. However this book is read by someone (or something?) with the most weirdly robotic voice, like some sort of fashion droid. Unfortunately this spoils the entire experience as the voice is so distracting it’s impossible to focus on or relate to the material of the book. What I did manage to pick up was also rather underwhelming and I was expecting more than just “buy a little black dress that looks amazing on you”. If people knew how to do this they wouldn’t need this book. Overall a disappointing experience, I can’t recommend this book.
