About this listen

How does Alburet feel about Stacia suddenly becoming his Succubus? How will her family react to her sudden change? While trying to handle this sudden transition, Mindblown is also going to take the server down for maintenance.

Alburet will have to deal with emotional turmoil, all while continuing to play the game he has been sentenced to play for life. What else is about to change in Alpha World?

Mindblown announces the ability to form guilds. Alburet sees an opportunity to form a guild himself and takes it.

Note: This is a continuation of the Alpha World saga. It contains real life situations, including sensual scenes that don't get fully graphic but might make you uncomfortable. It also contains hunting monsters and gaining levels, but not at a break-neck pace.

Good, but one small problem.

This has been quite good. looking forward to the next book. Only complaint is that old mate keeps going on and on about his past. It gets a little repetitive at times, but still 5 stars.

MMO Continue Of Book 1

As the Title says. This book I just finished and i want more and more.
You find the main story getting more engaging than the first. Its got higher level monsters, More quests, More items and More story that keeps you listing.
Learning more about the map, Quest line, History, Char's, and the DARK DEMON.
Not to give anything away but like a lot of books out there for char's to be "THE ONE" this book series seem to take this effect into the main char' and the game behind Mindblown Entertainment :P.
Now to buy book 3 and to start to listen to it.

Q great sequel! keen to continue the LitRPG saga

I finished this book in record time, I just couldn't put it down (or press pause more accurately). It wasn't as raunchy as the previous book which was a nice change and there was some decent twists and a decent RPG plotline. I'm keen to hear more.

Must Read

The premise was a little disconcerting I'll admit -- the main character is a prisoner who is being experimented on -- but I was hooked the minute I picked the book up.
The depth in the characters -- the flaws that are present & the natural way that relationships form -- was refreshing.
The genre of LitRPG seems to be books about guys gaming & grinding, it's refreshing to see a book set in an MMORPG which is about the people and their personal development just as much as their character development.
Definitely a must read for anyone remotely interested in the LitRPG genre.

Peter Berkrot is amazing in his portrayal and I have relistened to these books many times.

Disappointed

There's no real direction on the story line apart from a few key events and too much content is focused on sexual innuendo and not enough on story / character development. I had so many questions which arose from book 1 that I was hoping to be answered in book 2 but all I got was more questions.

Narrators is good story is boring

Narrator does a good job with a book that does not know what it wants to be. Some sort of dodgy version of 50 shades, that does not excite. Some sort of cloying romance. Some sort of litrpg where all they do is grind. The whole thing was repetitive and pointllThe first book was ok. I found myself getting very bored with this story regularly fast forwarding. The premise is interesting
