Strong research

Book was compelling. Staying strong throughout the course of a persons life sounds and is simple. Make movement the ambition for an entire life. The research makes a lot of sense. However, the author tended to go into areas where the book didn’t really need to go. Diet, exercises and motivation are covered better by other researchers. A good read though.

Inspiring & uncomplicated

Learnt new information & made me realise consistency is key & I can workout anywhere & now after a year of strength training I need a coach & better equipment to help me lift heavier & grow more muscle.

Loved this book

This is a must read along with Peter Attia’s book- Dr Gabrielle explains the importance of protein for ageing & longevity & gives you pretty good tools to follow up with

Not preachy. great listen!

When I heard mention of the lion protocol, I thought this was going to be anothe preachy book about going carnivore. that was not the case.

Really enjoyed this!

I listened to one of Dr Lyons podcasts and decided to jump right into the book. I love the muscle centric and protein forward approach and thought the practical guidance throughout was helpful for people at any stage. Really good evidence and research based information and actions and a great understanding of how it all fits together.
