Publisher's Summary

Society, as the Prescott family knows it, is about to change...in fact collapse. Garth Prescott has been given an assignment to help prepare the members of his church in his area for surviving the change. He has been trying to prepare his family for the time when the Prophet calls all the saints to gather for protection, but they aren't all on board with that plan. A few of the family follow the Prophet and go to the Zion Camp with other members of the church. A couple of them fight it out on their acreage where they've been stock piling supplies and weapons. Others choose to forfeit their freedom by joining the government’s New World Center.

They experience the consequences of their choices, and it isn't what they expect. There's disappointment, heart ache, and death involved. A group of them decide they must follow their heart and escape to find the Zion Camp.

They experience the literal protection Christ promises his saints as they encounter dangers, disasters, and as they are confronted by the invading military force that wants to eliminate Christians and control the country.

It is a journey dealing with loss, finding love, and developing faith.
