When college professor Ellie McKay walks into the Maverick Bar in Farmington, New Mexico, late one evening, she plans to get drunk, not engaged. She doesn’t know about Al’s own dark past, and she doesn’t tell him that her heart belongs to Doug Hansen, the detective who originally investigated the case.

very good whodunit, enjoyed this novel, recommend it to anyone who likes crime stories, I gave it 5 stars overall

Narrator seems inexperienced.
Audible need to keep in mind that narrators can make or break an audiobook.
Luckily this book was a freebie. The narration was so annoying that I could not get past the first few chapters.
