A top-secret drone crashes in the lawless Horn of Africa. The CIA is prepared to write off the loss, until evidence surfaces that the wreckage of their prized aircraft is hidden in a hangar outside Khartoum's main airport. As Davis enters this inhospitable world, he finds the two disparate mysteries strangely intertwined. True to his nature, Davis barges ahead. Yet everything he finds takes him in reverse.

Gripping swashbuckling aviator’s tale over the deserts of Sudan

Aviation based story of mystery and intrigue over the North African desert. An enjoyable and fast paced read.
A love interest mixed in with a terrorist plot and oppressive heat and sand, made for a gritty tale. As a qualified pilot and trained aviation accident investigator, I enjoyed the novel. Other than the final moments of the final flight, all aviation aspects were all reasonably accurate and realistic.
Even my wife enjoyed the story.
NB: We listened to the book using Audible: a great effort by Tim the narrator to approximate the various accents.
