Publisher's Summary

*Seven half-Walker girls. Seven worlds. One chance to save them all!*

Abigail Swish's life is nothing to brag about: gang-ridden city, orphanage style accommodations, and a matron who's kinda on the evil side.

Not that she has to worry about that for much longer. She'll turn 18 soon, and then it's goodbye compound, hello dangerous streets of New York City.

Of course, as her luck would have it, she doesn't make it to 18 before her world is turned upside down. One ambushed meeting with an accent-bearing, sword-wielding stranger, and suddenly her entire life as she knows it is a lie. Apparently she was just stashed on Earth for safekeeping and has been lost to her family ever since. And it's time to return home. To First World; a land of unimaginable beauty.

Of course, one should never forget how the old tale goes: beauty often hides the darkest secrets.

Fantastic story line, wonderful characters

Jaymin Eve has created wonderful characters and a fantastic storyline that has you sucked in right from the start. The entire series is interesting, fast paced and well written. The audio is well spoken and I highly recommend the series.

Entertaining

It's pretty slow to start, i hate to compare but it's like a poor cousin to the supernatural prison trilogy and the spin offs. Sorry Jaymin but it didn't make any sense to me till the end. I gave you five stars because i love you and your other books like the SPT and the Hive and also this book made me giggle many times it's hilarious and Eva's narrative is excellent xox

The book is great. But the reader was so bad :(

I loved the book. And will continue with the series. But I will get the book verison. but I wouldn't get any audio books with this reader. I can usually sit through bad readers to finish the series. But this one was bad and boring. I bearly got through this book. I don't like leaving negative reviews. Because all of this sort of thing is personal choices. But I left this one because I don't want people to pass up a good book just because the reader could lull an insomniac to sleep.

Bored me silly

This is for the late, teenage audience only? It seemed very immature and superficial to me, as I got sick of having every outfit and boy described in excruciating detail. I quit half way through, regretting even that much.

poor narration ruined it for me

I love this author but unfortunately this Audible version was a hard no for me based on the narration. The flat, bored tone of her voice made me think she didn't even want to be there, and use of dipthongs throughout made me stop completely. I'll finish on kindle thanks. Sadly I noticed that the other books in the series use the same narrator.
