Great story, performance distracting

If you can get past whatever Tahlia’s accent is supposed to be, then the rest of the book is a good romantic mystery. Tahlia is a supporting character the rest of the time
It was fine. Please don’t make a character with a “commonwealth” accent if the reader can’t perform it. I missed most of the content whenever Tahlia spoke because I was so distracted with the awful hybrid that wasn’t British, Aussie nor Kiwi but at times sounded like it was meant to be one of those. Good story, unsatisfactory performance. Won’t be listening to books with this narrator again.
