About this listen
In just seven days, the world will crumble. The System's Descent will usher in a new era of chaos: wild animals mutating, monstrous creatures emerging, and the cessation of modern technology. Humanity will be left defenseless.
Drew Wright knows none of this. At least not until he is rudely ripped from his bed and thrust into a white room to undergo a taser-happy ‘Tutorial’. Turns out, he is one of a thousand randomly selected people to be forewarned of the approaching apocalypse. Now, he faces the delightful task of convincing his wife and mother of the devastation hurtling towards them.
As the System’s Descent draws near, Drew scrambles to prep supplies, fortify his home, and drag his elderly, TV-addicted mother away from her ‘shows’ long enough to listen to him. With monsters knocking at the door, how far is Drew willing to go to save those closest to him?
The dead rise to combat the encroaching darkness as Drew Wright taps into the only power that might save his loved ones—becoming Earth’s first Necromancer.

half baked necromancer more melee then necromancer.
it's okay story worth the read but he is a half baked necromancer more like it's just a skill he uses. he more melee then mage or necromancer so yeah it's another one them story's that says in the title he a necromancer but in reality he is half necromancer and half melee so that instantly makes me dislike the book alot for lying.
can no one who actually says it's a story about a necromancer stick to it.
this more death knight.

World development
This book is amazing, it has great character building, twist and turns. It’s a good mix of American Culture with elements that are in mangas and manwhas. Portals, levels, dungeons, gods and goddesses. It has so much. Not an all powerful being ether, it shows struggles and the reality of life when this comes about. Overall it’s good, can’t wait for more to come out.

Boring.
Nothing really happens. Very disappointing book. It felt as though the writer dabbled and borrowed from others in the genre… unsuccessfully. There was not a single memorable moment unfortunately.
