About this listen
From USA Today best-selling author CL Stone, listen to First Days, the second book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.
Sang Sorenson used to be the invisible girl in class. As a new student to Ashley Waters High School, Sang hopes that her new friends will be the change she's been craving and will make fitting in a breeze. But Academy students aren't there to take it easy. The high school is overcrowded and rife with violence. When fights begin, Sang will uncover the true reason the boys traded in their private school life for a public one. This year, Sang will no longer be invisible. This year, Sang is a target. The principal and vice principal are hot to take Sang down, and her own mother is determined to entrap Sang forever in her belief that the safest place to be is in the shadows. Despite this, Nathan, Luke, Kota, North, Silas, Victor, and Gabriel will discover Sang's unyielding loyalty. And they will sorely need it. The Academy, supremely influential.

AMAZING BOOK!!
I loved this book! Full of mystery, action and a tad bit of romance. I love the parts at the end of each novel with the point of view from the different boys, including the academy teachers. I love the loyalty that was shown with the boys and those they cared about, it makes you wish for that kind of relationship. C.L Stone is an amazing author, with amazing ideas and creativity, I am completely in love with her writing and story. I am loving it so far and find myself - like with any good book series - caught up in the emotions of the book. I completely and utterly love the differences between the boys and how they each are different and yet, perfect for Sang and what she needs to be more confident. I find myself laughing in this book so many times and am still amazed that it has no kissing in it, and yet it is an amazing story. I also love the insight into Sang’s mind and the show of her innocence in not knowing what was ok, I found a connection with this and the not knowing what is right. Full marks from me, I love this book!!!
